An all-in-one cable for overcoming distance restrictions as well as power source limitations, the active USB 2.0 extension cable incorporates bus-powered active circuitry to ensure performance beyond the length limits of standard USB cables. The first unit connected to your computer must always be the USB 3.0 Active Extension Pro 8m (No. 43158) or 15m (No. 43229). Once the first cable is connected, you can cascade additional Extension System Pro cables to extend the distance up to a maximum of 40m.

The final part of the extension can be any cable or hub from the Extension System Pro range.

If you need to extend multiple devices or connect a USB device with high power requirements, you should use the 10m Hub Pro unit (No. 43159) with its power supply as the final part of the extension.
