Call blocking features
Block by Number - The BT4600 can block up to 1000 individual numbers, meaning that you really can avoid speaking to the people you don't want to. Over time, the phone learns which calls you do and don't want to take.

One touch call blocking - simply press the one touch button if you don't want to take the call, and the caller will be transferred to the answer machine. Or if you have answered the call, pressing the call blocking button will end the call and add the number to the list of blocked numbers when the Caller ID is displayed.

Send Calls to the Answer Phone - If you are unsure if you want to block the call, you can send them to the Answerphone and then Block from your calls list later.

Call Blocking puts you back in control by allowing you to choose the calls you want to take and those you want to block. You can block specific call types, like international and withheld numbers, enter the calls list and select a number that’s called you to block and also store up to 20 specific numbers you don’t want calling you.

Want some peace and quiet?
The Do Not Disturb feature is great for when you need some quiet time, just turn on and your calls will still get through and be added to the calls list but your handset won’t ring.

Want to see who’s calling before you pick up?
If you subscribe to a Caller Display service, you’ll be able to see your caller’s number on the handset display (provided it’s not withheld) before you answer the call. If your caller’s name is stored in your contacts list and it matches the number calling, you’ll see the caller’s name displayed instead.

You can add undesirable numbers to the blacklist manually or copy them from your call history. You can also prevent the phone from ringing for anonymous calls (i.e. those without caller ID) and even set time periods during which the phone should or shouldn't ring. What's more, you can add selected numbers to a VIP group to ensure that these calls always come through even when Do Not Disturb is enabled.
