An APC Smart-UPS Ultra On-Line Li-Ion always supplies perfectly clean power to all connected equipment thanks to its double conversion technology. Even power outages have no influence on this. The APC Smart-UPS On-Line then automatically supplies emergency power without having to switch. This way you prevent unwanted failure of, for example, a server, storage or switch. With the integrated network card and associated APC PowerChute Network Shutdown software, the UPS can send a shutdown signal via the network to multiple physical and/or virtual servers and have them shut down automatically and in a controlled manner when the UPS battery is almost empty. This way you prevent data loss, downtime and physical damage to hardware.

Lithium-Ion
The APC SRTL5KRM2UI uses Li-Ion batteries, which provides unique advantages:
-Longer life span. Li-Ion batteries can last up to 10 years, making the UPS truly maintenance-free.
-Smaller and lighter. Li-Ion batteries are smaller and weigh approximately 30% less than lead acid batteries, saving space, 2U form factor and simplifying installation.
-Better performance at high temperature. Li-Ion batteries perform well at high ambient temperatures (up to 40°C), in contrast to lead acid batteries where this is at the expense of battery life.
-5 year manufacturer's warranty. Standard long warranty on the UPS including the battery.
-Lower costs: The above benefits reduce the total costs over the entire lifespan of the UPS by up to 53% (compared to a UPS with lead-acid batteries.)

Manage your Smart-UPS
Thanks to the integrated network card, you can easily connect the APC UPS to your network. This way you can monitor and manage the UPS remotely (SNMP) and the UPS can send a shutdown signal to multiple physical and/or virtual servers using PowerChute Network Shutdown software.

PowerChute Network Shutdown is UPS management software that works with the UPS Network Management Card to protect Windows, Linux and Host ESXi, as well as hyperconverged and virtual infrastructure*. This without having to switch off the APC UPS or connected equipment. This way you can easily and cheaply extend the lifespan of the APC Smart-UPS and your equipment will always remain online. Warranty extension The factory warranty of the SRT8KRMXLI is 3 years, with the exception of the battery cartridge, which has a factory warranty of 2 years. Both are extended by 3 years to 6 and 5 years respectively with the APC service pack (WBEXTWAR3YR-SP-06). Switched Outlet Groups: Remote reboot and phased start-up Thanks to the Switched Outlet Groups it is possible to configure a phased/delayed power-on per UPS outlet group. This reduces the peak load on the UPS and brings it closer to the constant load, which can limit oversizing of the UPS. It is also possible to reset a group of multiple UPS outlets and the equipment connected to them. If a network card (ap9640) is used in combination with Ecostruxure IT Expert (SFTWES1-DIGI), this can even be done remotely. You can also switch off non-critical loads; this extends the runtime for critical equipment. This APC Smart-UPS is designed for IT professionals or network administrators to maintain business uptime and continuity. This 8kVA on-line 6U rackmount UPS provides pure sine wave power and extended runtime to support critical electronics during power disruptions. It comes with hard wire 3-wire(1P+N+E)/5-wire(3P+N+E) input, 6x IEC 320 C13, 4x IEC 320 C19 outlets, and 3x IEC jumper cables. The UPS has an embedded Network Management Card for UPS network-based monitoring and management. Warranty extension The factory warranty of the SRT10KRMXLI is 3 years, with the exception of the battery cartridge, which has a factory warranty of 2 years. Switched Outlet Groups: Remote reboot and phased start-up Thanks to the Switched Outlet Groups it is possible to configure a phased/delayed power-on per UPS outlet group. This reduces the peak load on the UPS and brings it closer to the constant load, which can limit oversizing of the UPS. It is also possible to reset a group of multiple UPS outlets and the equipment connected to them.
