A New Level of PTZ Camera Performance
Introducing the AW-UE150, a new 4K integrated Pan/Tilt/Zoom (PTZ) remote camera that offers 4K/UHD 60p capture, a first in its broadcast-camera class. The UE150 also affords the widest viewing angle (75.1 degrees, horizontal), which currently is the widest in its class. With an HDR mode, support of various 4K interfaces and simultaneous 4K/HD output, the AW-UE150 is the perfect remote camera for higher-end applications in broadcast, production, corporate, events & staging, education, House of Worship and more.

The AW-UE150 incorporates a 1-inch large MOS sensor and 20X optical zoom, along with seamless Intelligent Zoom (iZoom). The 4K interfaces supported include 12G-SDI, HDMI, optical fiber, and IP. The UE150 features a larger tally light for more effective on-air indication where needed, as well as a modern, bold new design.

1" Sensor for Remarkable Video
The large 1 inch MOS sensor enables high sensitivity shooting with low noise. The sensor boasts a light-capturing area that is approximately four times larger than that of the 1/2.3-type sensor to guarantee a wide dynamic range. Combined with our intelligent imaging functions, the AW-UE150 brings image quality never before seen in a PTZ camera.

High-Quality 4K 60p Video Out
3840 x 2160 4K output and 59.94p shooting achieve extremely smooth video, even in live sports and other environments containing rapid movement.

HDR (HLG) Support
The camera supports HDR (High Dynamic Range) to prevent blown-out highlights and blocked-up shadows and enable picture quality close to that of the naked eye. The color balance is shifted to display according to the BT.2020 color gamut.

Optical Image Stabilizer (OIS) Loaded
Vibrations of the mounted surface caused by doors opening and closing, audio systems and other installed equipment are automatically corrected to ensure stable shooting.

Night Mode Support
Equipped with Night Mode for infrared shooting. The use of IR rays in low-light situations enables shooting in situations that would normally be difficult, such as when capturing wildlife (image output is black and white).

Incredible Pan and Tilt Performance
Pan and tilt operate from a minimum speed of 0.08°/s to a maximum of 180°/s in high-speed mode. This is approximately 3 times the speed of our current product for rapid capture of the intended target. Furthermore, a low noise level of NC35 or less has been ensured when operating in normal mode, which is perfect for shooting in quiet environments.

Cropping Function
Images shot in 4K can be output in their entirety while simultaneously cropping parts of those images. The cropping position can be specified from a maximum of 3 locations to enable simple operation from the Remote Camera Controller AW-RP150, a web browser or other operations screen.

Multiple Interfaces Supported
A wide range of outputs are supported: 12G-SDI, 3G-SDI, HDMI, IP, and even Optical Fiber output. The addition of 4K/HD simultaneous output guarantees the right output for the operation at hand. 4K video can be down-converted to HD directly within the camera.

AR / VR Positioning
To be able to incorporate realistic VR (virtual reality) or AR (augmented reality) studio sets in your live productions, accurate camera positioning data is imperative. The AW-UE150 features the FreeD protocol, which provides you with the option to output Pan/Tilt/Zoom/Iris information via Serial (RS 422) and IP (UDP) directly from the camera to your tracking system. The FreeD protocol is supported by most popular virtual set systems, including the Vizrt Viz Virtual Studio.

Fresh New Web Interface
Camera IP image output, settings, and control can be performed using a web browser on a computer connected via an IP network. In addition to PCs and Macs, iPads, iPhones, Androids and other mobile devices can be used for operation, and this pursuit of easy-to-use interfaces has enabled smooth camera control from remote locations.

Direct Broadcast via RTMP
RTMP (Real-Time Messaging Protocol) is supported to enable direct upload of video to live-streaming services such as YouTube Live and Facebook Live. This means a live stream can be broadcast directly from the camera.

Integrates into NDI Ecosystem
The AW-UE150W/K can be upgraded to an NDI|HX compatible model if purchasing a license. Highly efficient NDI|HX compatibility enables high-quality video to be encoded and transmitted in real-time and input signals to be directly sent to a switcher (such as the AV-HLC100 Stream Studio) without the need for an IP decoder.

Large-Scale Production
IP connection from the Remote Camera Controller AW-RP150 through a HUB (switching hub) enables control of up to 200 AW-UE150W/K units. Furthermore, a single AW-UE150W/K unit can be controlled from up to 5 x AW-RP150 units.

Integrated Tally Light
The large tally light of the AW-UE150 can be disabled if preferred, but provides high-visibility for your on-screen talent when enabled, providing them an extra level of confidence when you're broadcasting live. With the option to adjust the brightness of the tally light, you can make sure it fits into any environment the installation calls for. The main power indicator light can be turned off as well to put the camera in stealth mode.

The AW-HE145 achieves high sensitivity of F9/2000lx with its 1.0-type MOS sensor, and can produce high-quality video even during low light applications as stage events or church services..

The HE145 operation mechanism is the same as with high-end Panasonic PTZ models, so the operating performance of the pan/tilt and zoom is smooth and accurate, allowing you to shoot without stress.

It is equipped with an optical 20x zoom and horizontal 75.1° wide-angle lens to realize flexible video production.

Integration into the NDI® Ecosystem
The AW-HE145W/K can be upgraded to an NDI®|HX compatible model with the purchase of a license. Highly efficient NDI®|HX compatibility enables high-quality video to be encoded and transmitted in real-time and input signals to be directly sent to a switcher without the need for an IP decoder.

After purchasing an NDI®|HX license, the license can be activated using the “Activation Function” of the free-to-download EasyIP Setup Tool Plus software (supported from Ver. 1.3.6 or later).

Optical Low Pass Filter (OLPF) Upgrade
Panasonic is offering an integrated Optical Low Pass Filter (OLPF) upgrade to its AW-HE145 model. This upgrade addresses moiré which is a huge challenge producers and creators are experiencing with LED walls. Moiré is the noticeable contrast between the light of the image and the darkness of the gap between LEDs. The OLPF upgrade prevents the high frequency information from passing and smooths out the total surface area. This process is done optically and requires a change to the existing lens in the camera. Tally LED Limit
This is a setting that does not turn on the tally lamps of cameras installed on stages at events, especially concert halls and stages and prevents distracting the performers and allows for more natural filming. The tally indicator on the controller lights up so that the cameraperson is aware of which camera's video is being used.
