Lindy's Fibre Optic Hybrid USB Type C Cables are the professional solution for the transmission of USB video and audio signals over longer distances. Combining the long-distance capabilities, flexibility and high EMI and RFI resistance of fibre optic cable with standard copper cabling, these hybrid cables are ideal for use in mission-critical AV setups or commercial installations. Supplied as a thin cable with a premium metal, narrow USB Type C connector, this cable can easily be installed through conduits and other narrow spaces with no damage caused to the internal cable structure.
Supporting all the features that come with the DP 1.2 specification, these cables deliver resolutions up to 4K UHD 3840x2160@60Hz, perfect for ensuring superior image quality in eye-catching retail displays, immersive AV installations at events or a responsive, crystal-clear solution in transportation signage. HDR support ensures a much wider colour gamut, greater contrasts and an enhanced brightness to provide eye-catching content even in outdoor or brightly lit scenarios.

The cable incorporates proven active technology and locking connectors to ensure reliable signal integrity, even in demanding environments. This 15m extension cable can be used on its own or as part of the Lindy USB 3.0 Active Extension System Pro. This system is a modular solution that combines multiple USB Active Extension Pro cables and a USB 3.0 Active Extension Pro hub. It enables the distribution of USB signals to up to 4 devices at distances of up to 40m (depending on the cable configurations used). Using this cable as part of the USB 3.0 Active Extension System Pro If you would like to use this cable as part of combined Lindy USB 3.0 Active Extension System Pro installation, please note the requirements below. The first unit connected to your computer must always be the USB 3.0 Active Extension Pro 8m (No. 43158) or 15m (No. 43229). Once the first cable is connected, you can cascade additional Extension System Pro cables to extend the distance up to a maximum of 40m.
